Reacton has received the world's first UL Listing to UL 2166 for Direct (DLP) Technology Clean Agent systems to protect your sensitive electronics in the most economical way possible. Utilising trusted extinguishing mediums such as Reacton 1230 Clean Agent Fire Protection Fluid.
Reacton 1230 is a fluorinated ketone that is stored as a liquid and discharged as a gas. It is electrically non-conductive and leaves no residue after discharge. It distributes uniformly throughout the hazard zone and suppresses fire primarily by heat absorption from the flame.
With a zero-ozone depletion potential (ODP), a global warming potential (GWP) of just one, and an atmospheric lifetime (ALT) of only five days, Reacton 1230 offers an environmentally responsible option for fire suppression.
Reacton 1230 has been thoroughly evaluated and approved for use in occupied areas as specified by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) & Significant New Alternative Program (SNAP).
Manufactured by Chemours™
FM-200™ sometimes referred to as HFC-227ea is the most tested liquefiable clean agent of all time. It is an electrically non-conductive odourless and colourless gas. FM-200™ offers minimal downtime due to no clean-up, post discharge. It is stored as a liquid and introduced into the protected hazard as a clear colourless vapor. FM-200™ leaves no residue and is suitable for occupied spaces. FM-200™ has zero Ozone Depletion Potential.
Reacton were the world's first company to achieve UL Listing to UL 2166 for Direct (DLP) Technology for CE and DOT variants in our Clean Agent Automatic Fire Suppression Systems.
Halocarbon Clean Agent range consists of Reacton 1230 Clean Agent and FM-200™ waterless fire suppressant from Chemours™. These Clean Agents are the most trusted and tested liquefiable gases on the market with all supply being solely through the biggest names in the industry when it comes to Clean Agents.
Reacton Clean Agent extinguishing mediums all have the following approvals:
Reacton have innovated their Direct technology to deliver the Clean Agent in a unique way in order to provide superior fire fighting performance.
This technology utilises the Reacton® tubing to automatically detect the fire and actuate the system. The tubing is installed in and around the fire risk areas within the protected area, the tubing is pressurised and in communication with the system contents. When a fire occurs, the tubing will burst at the point of highest heat. As the contents of the systems are directly in communication with the detection tube, immediate discharge of the extinguishing agent is started at the point of detection.
Reacton systems are designed to meet the most robust and demanding certification standards around the world. Our automatic fire suppression systems are independent of a power source which ensures detection and suppression in any condition.
Our systems are all manufactured and designed under our BSI ISO9001:2015 quality policy and are CE & DOT Compliant.
