The Fire Safety Event 2024 proved to be the ideal opportunity for Reacton to showcase the world’s first UL2166 listing for Direct (DLP) Clean Agent Technology, complementing our existing Indirect (ILP listing. The platform was set for Ben Hughes, Business Development Manager UK & Ireland and Ed Chivers Global Product and Certification Director.
Ed Chivers gave a very informative presentation in the Innovation & Compliance Theatre on why this standard is so important to the industry. Our system had vast real world-experience providing unique and reliable fire protection, and we felt strongly that it required 3rd party validation using recognised design standards and practices. This would give confidence to those not familiar with the system, and open doors to customers and markets that required an independent, globally recognised listing on their safety equipment.
On display were both our Direct (DLP) and Indirect (ILP) Clean Agent Technology systems that can be used to protect electrical panels, telecommunications, CNC machines and our Wet Chemical system for residential kitchens.
The event was a great success for Reacton and we would like to thank everyone who visited our stand.
