Reacton begins working with Tabra Trading

In December of 2021, Reacton announced their partnership with Tabra Trading to supply them with our industry-leading fire suppression systems across the UAE. Since we announced our partnership, the Reacton team have been working relentlessly to ensure we can keep up with supplying them with our systems whilst ensuring we continue our hard work with all of our other distributors.

Recently, Stephen Molyneux, a Fireward engineer (an engineer from our UK based sister company), began training Tabra to install our vehicle fire-suppression systems. Stephen was in Dubai for a week, during his time with Tabra he showcased his expertise with our systems, providing in-depth training for two Tabra engineers to ensure they had a comprehensive understanding of our systems. The training included various aspects such as:

• Full risk assessment
• Design and configuration of the system according to the risk assessment
• Installation and complying with the system parameters
• Commissioning and maintenance

These areas of the training are critical in ensuring the engineers understand the functionality of our systems and to ensure that the system performs at the highest possible standard to effectively protect the bus. The engineers from Tabra were very knowledgeable about buses and keen to learn about the fundamentals of our systems, how to install them, how they function and how they protect assets.

Reacton’s bus and coach fire suppression system is the most compact and approved system globally, demonstrating our superior quality with UNECE R107 and P-Mark SPCR 183 approvals. The suppressant agent that we use in our bus and coach fire suppression systems is dry powder, this is due to its rapid knockdown capabilities and its ability to tackle hidden fires that other mediums may not be able to reach.

We have been very happy with the progress that we are making with Tabra Trading in the past few months and we are excited to share how our partnership with Tabra develops. Supplying Tabra with our industry leading fire suppression systems is a great opportunity to protect more critical assets and to save more lives.
